Sarah is an 8th grade English teacher who also serves as the department chair at her school. Sarah and her educator husband both teach in Los Angeles California, which has an extremely high cost of living. They started in their 20's like most teachers, student loan debt + credit card debt but really wanted to own their own home. In order to realize their dream of home ownership in a HCOL area, they learned to be frugal and fearless with their decisions. Sarah says they haven't done everything perfect, but their story shows you can still be successful with your money, even in a high cost of living area on two teacher incomes.
